Live poultry strains displayed to illustrate the evolution of commercial poultry lines is the most attractive feature of this park. Model cattle, goat, poultry, rabbit units have been established to demonstrate different types of housing and management systems. Several pasture and fodder varieties recommended for different agro-ecological zones of Sri Lanka have also been cultivated here. A museum displaying traditional equipment used for animal handling and draught purposes is an eye catching component in this park.
